On Sunday night, Anderson .Paak and Bruno Mars took the Grammy Awards by storm, making their live debut as the ’70s inspired Silk Sonic.

The duo’s impending album – An Evening with Silk Sonic, out later this year – will include “special guest host” Bootsy Collins and pulls winking, self-aware inspiration from likes Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Sly Stone and, of course, Parliament Funkadelic.

Their performance of lead single “Leave the Door Open” has plenty of Temptations-level dance moves as well.
