On Feb. 12, Dumpstaphunk performed a live show at the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Fla. The show was a golf cart drive-in show and was a part of Suwannee’s two-night ‘Funky Mardi Gras “Mask”erade’ celebration. Dumpstaphunk invited celebrated bassist Oteil Burbridge to sit in with them during their set.
Burbridge was in town as he, along with his trio, will perform as part of Suwannee’s Mardi Gras celebration tonight, Feb. 13. Roosevelt Collier will also perform during tonight’s event. Meanwhile, Someday Honey shared the bill with Dumpstaphunk.
Burbridge recently announced two more shows with his trio, which will occur at the North Beach Bandshell in Miami, Fla. on Apr. 23 and 24.
Below are a series of photos of Burbridge sharing the stage with Dumpstaphunk, captured by Jeff Kasky.

Three bassists!
Unless one of the boys sat out to accommodate Oteil? Regardless, that’s a lotta low end. Subwoofers must be worked!
Glad to read that shows are occurring at a slow and inventive trickle.
I can’t fucking wait to have pandemic behind us, live music has always been my vaccine for chronic insanity! Ha.
