Peter Frampton is the latest rocker to get his first of two COVID-19 vaccine shots.
“Thank you to all the people everywhere who are helping with the testing and vaccines,” Frampton wrote via Twitter, alongside a picture of his bandaged arm. “One down one to go!!”
Before the pandemic, Frampton was in the midst of his lengthy farewell tour, playing emphatically before his degenerative muscle disorder – inclusion body myositis [IBM] – robbed him of his gift.
“I’m going to be playing as long as I can, but I will not play in public when I can’t play like I want to,” the guitarist told Relix in 2019. “That’s why this had to be the last official long-form tour.”
