Dopapod are nodding to Inauguration Day – and celebrating today’s palindrome of 1/20/21 – with a performance of “Four Years Ended.”
Some keen-eared fans may notice that the performance is a sped-up, double-time version of the band’s instrumental “Eight Years Ended,” which they reimagined and retitled to acknowledge today’s federal changing of the guard.

So
January 21, 2021 at 11:45 amSo I gave this a listen/watch. Never heard of Dopapod, and basically have not had any interest in any jam based band post Phish. Looks like that trend will continue….How is this even considered a song, or a piece of music? A basic riff/groove that goes nowhere, with super predictable/safe soloing from the keyboards and guitar. For instrumental music, this is at best an incomplete demo or bed track, at worst derivative, unoriginal dogshit. Seriously, it’s like a twisted science experiment where four musicians were raised from birth and only allowed to listen to backing music from video games. Do people actually pay to go see this tripe?
