The White Stripes are celebrating the Dec. 4 release of their Greatest Hits collection by taking a walk down memory lane.

The Jack White/Meg White duo recently collaborated with Saturday Night Live to unearth a pair of archival performances, both from their Oct. 19, 2002 appearance on the show.

Host John McCain introduces both clips, showcasing the tracks “Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground” as well as “We’re Going to Be Friends.”

The White Stripes’ archival releases also continued this week with the release of Live at the 40 Watt, chronicling their Sept. 27, 1999 gig in Athens, GA.
