Jacksonville native Derek Trucks strapped on his guitar for his beloved Jaguars this past Thursday, adding his signature slide sound to The National Anthem.
Trucks and his family (including bandmate/wife Susan Tedeschi) are well-known Florida sports fanatics, supporting the NFL’s Jaguars as well as the NCAA’s Florida State Seminoles.
In 2018, Tedeschi herself sung The National Anthem at the Jaguars’ first NFL playoff game in a decade.
