Bassist Eric Gould of Pink Talking Fish, guitarist Mike Carter of The Indobox, drummer Adrian Tramontano and keyboardist Max Chase have announced that they have formed a new band during quarantine called Marble Eyes. The band also shared a snippet of some original material on their new Facebook page.
According to the band’s bio on Facebook, Gould “has built up a large list of original songs that have not been realized” during his seven years in Pink Talking Fish. He brought some of the songs to Carter, who brought Chase into the fold. “The three players found immediate chemistry with their blend of style and vocal harmony,” explained the bio. From their, Gould enlisted Tramontano, a jam-scene staple who has played in Kung Fu and The Breakfast, among other projects.
“Each character is defined and, together, they have created something positive and exciting in the midst of one of the most challenging times of this century,” read the bio.
The band also has some shows coming up in the Northeast, with gigs set in Falmouth, Mass., Stowe, Vt. and Portsmouth, N.H. Check out the dates below!
