Andy Hall of the Infamous Stringdusters will release a new passion project this October.
As its title reveals, 12 Bluegrass Classics for Resophonic Guitars will allow the dobroist to put his spin on some of the best instrumentals in bluegrass history.
“I’ve always striven to push the envelope as a player, but never had the chance to put my stamp on some of the formative tunes I’ve always played at jam sessions,” Hall explained via press release. “I chose songs that were familiar to me. [These are] tunes that I’ve been playing for years, and that have shaped my playing. These 12 are some of my favorites, and I’m happy to get to offer up my take on them!”
12 Bluegrass Classics for Resophonic Guitars will drop on Oct. 16, 2020.
