On Sept. 12, Warren Haynes kicked off the first of five socially-distanced shows at South Farms in Morris, Ct. The two-set show, which featured Danny Louis, included covers of George Harrison, Bill Withers, the Eagles and more.

The show began with “Don’t Know Where We’re Going (But We’ll Get There),” followed by “New Year’s Eve.” Next, Haynes delivered a cover of George Harrison’s “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth).” After “Company Man,” Louis took the stage for the final five songs, which included Phil Lesh & Friends’ “Patchwork Quilt” and Billy Cobham’s “Red Baron.” The set closed with Gov’t Mule’s “Banks of the Deep End.”

Set two began sans Louis with “The Real Thing” followed by the Eagles “Wasted Time.” After “Hallelujah Boulevard,” Louis returned to the stage for the remainder of the show, beginning with a performance of Bill Withers’ “Hope She’ll Be Happier.” Later in the set, the duo delivered a rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” and closed the set with Jimmy Cox’s “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out.” For the encore, they opted for Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s “Cortez the Killer.”

Haynes returns to the stage tonight, Sept. 13, as well as Oct. 1, 8 and 15. See the full setlist from last night’s show below.
