Choosing a replica of the White House Oval Office as her virtual location, Phoebe Bridgers provided a performance for NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. Featuring songs from her latest album, Punisher, released June 18., Bridgers is joined by bandmates Marshall Vore and Harrison Whitford to deliver performances of “Kyoto” and “Moon Song.”

Earlier this week, Bridgers sang a version of “Kyoto” with Arlo Parks for BBC 1’s Piano Sessions where they also covered Radiohead’s “Fake Plastic Trees.

“Thank guys, I’m Phoebe,” Bridgers said after singing “Moon Song.” “Hope everyone is enjoying their apocalypse.”

To close their set, the Bridgers performed a special rendition of “I Know the End.” Toward the end of the song, the band doubles as they’re joined by Emily Retas (bass), Nick White(keys), and Odessa Jorgensen (violin). But then the group rapidly expands when they are accompanied by the virtual presence of their fans. Not only do we see videos of the fans jamming out to the song in their respective locations, but they join Bridgers in the lustral scream that closes the song.
