Ahead of her new album …but i’d rather be with you, Molly Tuttle has shared a cover of The Rolling Stones’ “She’s A Rainbow,” along with an accompanying video. The video features appearances by such artists as Tom Morello, Ketch Secor, Taylor Goldsmith, Sierra Hull and many more.

According to a press release, the video was “conceived by Tuttle as opportunity to express her belief that feminism and the fight for equality require work from all people. With that in mind, she invited famous friends and fans of every gender to join her.”

Prior to making the cover, Tuttle was not particularly familiar with The Rolling Stones’ music. “I embarrassingly couldn’t name 10 songs by The Rolling Stones,” Tuttle said in a press release. “I have never been super into classic rock, to be honest. That being said, I heard this song and fell in love with it. I thought it would be fun to do a version from the female perspective. I don’t know what The Rolling Stones had in mind when they sang this one, but for me it’s a love song to all feminine beings. She comes in colors everywhere, she’s like a rainbow!! YES!”

…but i’d rather be with you is set to drop on Aug. 28; pre-order the record here. Watch the video for “She’s A Rainbow” below!
