After broadcasting it as part of their Dinner and a Movie series, Phish have announced that their legendary July 8, 1994 performance at the Great Woods Center for the Performing Arts in Mansfield, Mass. will be available as an archival released on LivePhish.
The show is extremely noteworthy, as the first set contained a complete performance of the Gamehendge Saga, also known as The Man Who Stepped Into Yesterday, which was written by Trey Anastasio for his senior thesis at Goddard College.
The new release will be available to stream and purchase on LivePhish.com starting at midnight ET on Aug. 21. It will also be played in full at 9 p.m. ET tonight (Aug. 20) on Phish Radio on SiriusXM.
In addition to the Gamehendge Saga, the show itself is highlighted by a late-second set sequence of “You Enjoy Myself” -> “Frankenstein” -> “You Enjoy Myself.” See the full setlist below, via Phish.net.
