Billy Strings brought his nine-show crowdless Nashville run to a close on Sunday night, welcoming Anders Beck of Greensky Bluegrass and covering everyone from John Prine to Pearl Jam to Lynyrd Skynyrd.

The aforementioned Prine cover kicked off the festivities as Strings and his trio took on “Sweet Revenge.”

Bluegrass traditionalists were thrilled by Strings’ pairing of the traditional “Red Rocking Chair” and Bill Monroe’s “Southern Flavor,” but it wasn’t long before the bandleader nodded to his more modern influences, performing Pearl Jam’s “In Hiding.”

Beck arrived late in the second set, adding his dobro to a nice jam through Strings’ Pyramid Country and the traditional “Little Maggie.”

Beck stuck around for the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic “The Ballad of Curtis Loew” and closed his sit-in with Strings’ set-closing “Meet Me at the Creek.”

Strings closed the nine-show run with Bill Monroe’s “Y’all Come.”
