After canceling its 2020 edition, FloydFest quickly announced that The Avett Brothers will headline the 2021 event, which has been dubbed ‘FloydFest 21 Odyssey.’ The festival has now unveiled some more acts for next year, including Goose and Andy Frasco and The U.N. The festival is set for July 21-15, 2021 in Floyd, Virginia.
In addition to the previously mentioned performers, the festival has also annoucned that DownTown Abby & The Echoes, who won last year’s On The Rise contest, will also perform, as well as second place finisher Hot Trail Mix. The festival promised that “many more artist additions on the way over the coming months.”
“As we navigate these incredible times, it’s amazing to think that we are all experiencing a ‘Vision Quest’ in some form or fashion,” Kris Hodges, founder and chief creative officer, said via press release when the festival was rescheduled. “As we look ahead, we ask that you take the time to embark and reflect upon all of your visions for next year’s ‘Odyssey.’ We can’t wait to celebrate with you July 21 to 25, 2021, to share in this epic adventure with a stupendous cast of musicians and artisans.”
