Preparing for their first album in a decade, reggae pioneers Toots and the Maytals have released a brand new single, “Got To Be Tough.”
Over a rolling ska tempo, bandleader Toots reminds the listener, “Just in case you never know/ Or maybe you forget/ Your days are getting shorter.”
The album – also titled Got To Be Tough – is prepped for an Aug. 28 release.
