For the first time during Dinner And A Movie series, Phish will broadcast a show from their 1.0 era. The featured show this week will be the band’s July 21, 1997 show at the Virginia Beach Amphitheater in Virginia Beach, Va. The show is highlighted by a sit-in by the late Dave Matthews Band saxophonist LeRoi Moore, who joined Phish for the jam out of “Theme From The Bottom” and “Funky Bitch.”

According to the description of the show on Phish.net, “the jam with LeRoi included a segment where he played two saxes, Trey played three guitars, Mike played two basses and the Cracklin’ Rosie cymbals, Fish had four drumsticks and Page was lying across his keyboards playing as many as possible.” Check out the full setlist below.

For this week’s recipe, Trey Anastasio “shares three recipes of Italian comfort food from Scott Tacinelli & Angie Rito, husband-and-wife chefs and co-owners of Don Angie, located in New York City’s West Village.” (Quote via announcement post.) Anastasio shared a note along with the recipe.

“For this week’s Dinner And A Movie we thought it would be thrilling to invite Scott Tacinelli and Angie Rito of Don Angie to design a menu,” the guitarist wrote. “Don Angie is regarded as one of the top restaurants in NYC today, and we had an unforgettable dinner there with friends a few months ago. Scott and Angie are long time members of the Phish community, having attended many shows, and we all sat and talked and laughed at the table after dinner and had such a fun night. We are so grateful to them for sharing their culinary wizardry with all of you this week. Of course we all look forward to a day when NYC restaurants are open, as well as all the incredible music venues. For Dinner and a Movie this week, we can have a taste.”

This week’s featured charity is The Street Medicine Institute, which “facilitates and enhances the direct provision of health care to the unsheltered homeless where they live by providing communities and clinicians with expert training, guidance, and support to develop and grow their own Street Medicine programs.” (Quote via press release.)
