Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have canceled their 11th annual Domefest Music Festival, originally scheduled for May 14-16.
“They say ‘the show must go on,’ but they also say ‘safety first,'” reads a statement from the band. “With this at heart, we’ve made the tough decision to cancel Domefest 2020 in order to prioritize the health of our beloved festival family. This has been the most difficult moment in our eleven year history and we hope you understand how much it pains us to make this call.”
Domefest 2020 was set to feature five sets of Pigeons Playing Ping Pong as well as additional sets by Spafford, Aqueous, SunSquabi, Magic Beans, lespecial, CBDB and more.
2020 would have also marked the event’s second year at its new home of Marvin’s Mountaintop in West Virginia.
All tickets for Domefest 2020 will be refunded automatically.
