Margo Price’s new album That’s How Rumors Get Started will officially drop on May 8.
The record was produced by country titan Sturgill Simpson, and features 10 new originals mostly recorded at LA’s famed EastWest Studios while Price was pregnant with her daughter.
“They’re both a creation process,” Price explained via press release. “And I was being really good to my body and my mind during that time. I had a lot of clarity from sobriety.”
According to a press release, Price’s new single “Twinkle Twinkle” is “a stinging indictment of nostalgia and the illusory nature of success.”
It follows up Price’s lead single from the LP, “Stone Me.”
