On Feb. 14, Umphrey’s McGee performed their first of two shows at Ashville, N.C.’s ExploreAshville.com Arena. Billy Strings joined them for two songs during the second set.

The show began with “Goonville” which then transitioned into “Crucial Taunt.” Next, Umphrey’s delivered a seamless, three-song sequence of “Mad Love” > “Booth Love” > “Andy’s Last Beer.” The two “Love”-titled songs were perhaps played in honor of Valentine’s Day. After “Hurt Bird Bath,” the set closed with “In The Kitchen.”

Before inviting Billy Strings up during the second set, Umphrey’s delivered an opening “Smell the Mitten,” followed by a pairing of “All In Time” > “The Weight Around.” The rapidly rising jam-grass star then took the stage for “Great American” and “Phil’s Farm.” After Strings departed, Umphrey’s closed the set with “1348.”

For the encore, the band opted for “It Doesn’t Matter” before returning to “All In Time.”

Umphrey’s McGee returns to the ExploreAshville.com Arena tonight, Feb. 15. Check out the complete setlist below, via our Box Scores section.
