“Yes, it’s true. We have a new record called The New Abnormal and it will be available April 10,” reads a Feb. 11 post by The Strokes.

The evening prior the band performed at a New Hampshire rally for presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. In addition to a batch of older originals, they offered a brand new tune – dubbed “Bad Decisions” – as well as a cover of Talking Heads’ “Burning Down The House.”

“We are honored to be associated with such a dedicated, diligent, & trustworthy patriot—and fellow native New Yorker,” The Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas said in a previous statement. “As the only truly non-corporate candidate, Bernie Sanders represents our only chance to overthrow corporate power and help return America to democracy. This is why we support him.”

The New Abnormal was helmed by famed producer Rick Rubin, and it will be the band’s first LP since 2013.

To celebrate, The Strokes revealed a music video for the album track “At The Door” and announced an intimate, Feb. 19 performance at London’s Roundhouse.
