On Jan. 23, the two surviving members of The Doors – guitarist Robby Krieger and drummer John Densmore – reunited for a special one-night-only performance at the Homeward Bound Concert in Los Angeles. The charity concert raised mony for PATH (People Assisting The Homeless).

As previously reported, Krist Novoselic of Nirvana joined the band for their entire set on bass. In addition, Willie Nelson’s youngest song, Micah, played guitar for the entire set.

The band also invited a slew of guests to provide vocals during the show. Eurythmics’ vocalist Dave Stewart and his daughter Kaya joined to open with “Hello, I Love You.” Haley Reinhart (who appeared on American Idol) took the stage for “Crystal Ship” and “People Are Strange.” Michael Fitzpatrick of Fitz and The Tantrums (who were also on the bill for the show) joined next for “Riders on the Storm.”

The set concluded with a take on “Roadhouse Blues,” which featured trading solos from Nelson and Krieger on guitar and Stanley Behrens (Canned Heat) on harmonica.

Besides The Doors’ standout set, the night also featured performances from Jason Mraz, Ingrid Michaelson, Fitz and The Tantrums and more
