After scheduling a number of marquee festival appearances – from Bonnaroo to The Peach – Turkuaz have finalized their Remain in Light tour dates with original member Jerry Harrison and longtime collaborator Adrian Belew.

Remain in Light and Talking Heads have been part of the soundtrack of our lives, and a huge inspiration to us as a band since day one,” Turkuaz frontman Dave Brandwein said via press release. “It’s certainly not every day you get a chance to collaborate with the very people who inspired you. These shows, and this chance to work with Jerry and Adrian is a dream come true. More than anything, all parties involved are excited to bring this music back to life, and back to the stage in a way that hasn’t been done for many years.”

Added Belew, “Turkuaz came in town to play the Exit/In. Jerry Harrison flew in and he and I went to see the show. It was super funky and joyous! After two songs we looked at each other and said ‘this is gonna work beautifully!'”

Stops include a Jazz Fest late-night on May 2 and the previously-scheduled Red Rocks gig on May 22.
