Eric Clapton has announced a special one-off charity show in honor of his bandmate and friend, the late Ginger Baker.
The show is set for Feb. 17, 2020 at the Eventim Apollo Hammersmith in London. The show – billed as “Eric Clapton and Friends” – will see Clapton joined by special guests to be announced. Tickets to the show go on sale Nov. 29 at 10 a.m. local time and can be purchased here. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to Leonard Cheshire, a U.K.-based health and welfare charity.
Clapton and Baker shared a long musical history together, including playing in legendary bands Cream and Blind Faith. Ginger Baker passed away on Oct. 6, 2019. He was 80 years old.
