The newest edition of the GarciaLive series will focus on a previously unreleased 1/23/73 show at San Francisco’s Boarding House.

According to a press release, “GarciaLive Vol. 12 finds Garcia and Saunders continuing to stretch the bounds of R&B standards and foundational rock & roll on the front-end of a three-night midweek run. The core of Garcia, Saunders, bassist John Kahn and drummer Bill Vitt are joined here by vocalist Sarah Fulcher whose tenure with the group was brief but revolutionary.”

The recording has been touched up by in-demand producer Jonathan Wilson as well as Dave Cerminara, straight from Betty Cantor-Jackson and Rex Jackson’s original 16-track recordings.

GarciaLive Vol. 12 will be available as a 3-CD package as well as via download/streaming “on or around” 12/18/2019.
