November 6, 2019 at 7:42 pmHey Charles, from what others have written, you seem to be a constant trolling factor on Janbase. Sadly, you miss the “Magic” that Dark Star Orchestra brings playing the music of the Grateful Dead now for more than 2300 shows for 21 plus years! Fans in their 50’s 60’s and 70’s whom attended many Grateful Dead shows are at DSO’s shows across the Country! Too, through DSO many new fans of this music were introduced. So Charles, until you go hear Dark Star Orchestra live perform this music, keep sitting in your chair by your computer writing uninformed nonsense. Though at this point in your life, if you really did see the JGB while Jerry was alive, your health has to be affected by the HATE and ANGER you write on so many of your comments! CHill out man and find some JOY !!!! And keep an open mind, it might just be at a Dark Star Orchestra show where you be feeling the love and good vibes produced by this music live again! Good Luck !!!!!

October 25, 2019 at 4:18 amThey also have uninformed ignorant fans. Jerry didnt go to see cover bands. Yes I saw the JGB with Jerry Garcia 60 times. They never covered one band exclusively and in such a CREEPY fucking way. Shitty band shitty fans. Uninformed and not with the program. Just a charade to take yor money and laugh all the way to the bank.

October 24, 2019 at 4:52 amFuck this band. Go to see live original music. Jerry Garcia did not go to see cover bands, and neither should you. Every time you go to see this you are wasting money and time. It has no validity and no value.

October 24, 2019 at 10:46 amFuck your Fuck You. I’ll spend my money and enjoy the Grateful Dead experience any way I god-dammed well please. Jerry didn’t exercise or eat well, either, so I guess I shouldn’t do those things as well. Fuck off.

October 25, 2019 at 4:28 amJust like you pretend to be Ron Mckernan, they pretend to be the Grateful Dead, and you are both are miserable failures. Its strange how a band that strived to be original is now caught in a storm of shitty cover bands who couldnt write a song if their lives depended on it. The dumbest arguement ever presented in their defense is the GD or Jerry did covers. Neither group covered one band exclusively and “recreated” shows by one band exclusively. That is just the ultra creepy Dark Star Orchestra. I have some Hi C for you too. No really, its fruit juice….fuckin morons.

October 24, 2019 at 1:36 pmDid you ever go see an actual JGB show?? I did see quite a few, and NEWS FLASH…..half the songs they did were COVERS!!!! (now he did do them better than most of the originals, but that’s a different story.) Keep your hate to yourself, and have a grateful day instead.
