For the third night of his New York City residency with his E3 Trio, guitarist Eric Krasno welcomed multiple guests to the Blue Note Jazz Club stage on Saturday Night.

Krasno opened his early set with his Reminisce solo cut “76,” and later welcomed guests like singer Leslie Mendelson as well as guitarists Brandon “Taz” Niederauer and Grahame Lesh for a batch of tunes.

Taz and Kraz wove their guitar lines together for a mid-set pairing of Krasno’s Blood From A Stone track “Curse Lifter” and Jimi Hendrix favorite “Manic Depression.”

Mendelson then swapped places with Taz to sing on a groovy “That’s What Love Will Make You Do” and she stuck around to collaborate with Kraz and Lesh on “Please Ya,” “Sugaree” and “Unconditional Love.”

As evening turned into night, the trio of guests stuck around for the E3 Trio’s second set as well, jamming on originals and covers alike.

Krasno will close out his residency at the Blue Noe with his trio on Sunday night. Tickets are available here.
