The Disco Biscuits have announced that they will be returning to their home away from home, the Playstation Theater in New York’s Time Square, to ring in the new year this winter with a four-night run at the venue. The band first shared the news via a collage of photos on their official Instagram page, followed by an official announcement.

The shows, set for Dec. 27, 28, 30 and 31, will also mark the final shows at the Playstation Theater. Over the years, the Biscuits have played the NYC venue (which used to be called the Best Buy Theater and, before that, the Nokia Theater) more than any other act, and the venue in turn is the band’s most-played location.

Last week, The Disco Biscuits hinted at a return to longer tours after playing only one-off runs and special occasions in recent years with a note from guitarist John “Barber” Gutwillig, who wrote, “Set break is over. Gas tank’s refilled. We are back. Get ready, the best is yet to come.”

Now, Barber’s bandmate Aron Magner follows up with his own note: “We’ve got so much to tell you guys in the next couple of weeks, wanted to start with a classic. A New Year. A new beginning. A new life. Couldn’t think of a better way to look towards the future than by saying goodbye to the past. Our 40th show at a venue that, just like all of us, has changed so many times through the years. We’ve shared so many incredible memories as a community there, here’s to one last hurrah before the venue closes for good. The Biscuits are coming home!”

A ticket pre-sale to The Disco Biscuits’ NYE run will open tomorrow, Aug. 21, from 10 a.m.–5 p.m. ET via Seated. General ticket sales begin this Friday, Aug. 23, at 10 a.m. ET.

UPDATE (8/20): The Disco Biscuits apparently have a new album on the way as well. As the ticketing links for the band’s NYE shows note, “Every ticket for this show includes a digital download or CD copy of the Disco Biscuits’ forthcoming album. You will receive an email with more details about this offer approximately 7 days after your purchase. US/Canadian residents only.”
