Singer-guitarist Lo Faber of God Street Wine is teaming up with bassist Tom Pirozzi of Ominous Seapods for a batch of stripped-down acoustic duo dates.
“Just a guitar, a bass, a microphone … some GSW tunes, some new tunes, some covers … and YOU of course,” Faber wrote via Facebook.
The duo will hit three cities in the August, opening for Raisinhead in Albany, NY on Aug. 22, supporting Incredible Dogs In a Pile in Morrisville, VT on Aug. 23 and then playing two long sets in Sussex, NJ on Aug. 24.
“Tom and I haven’t played together since the Lo Faber Band days and Henry’s House in 2001-2002. We are so psyched to get out and do this and we really hope you can make it to one of these nights – hopefully this is only the beginning of Duo greatness and glory,” Faber added.
