After performing with TAB at the Peach Music Festival and playing solo acoustic at Newport Folk Festival this weekend, Trey Anastasio looked back on this spring’s Ghosts of the Forest tour, sharing a pro-shot video of “Shadows Thrown By Fire”> “Wider.”
The new video captured at The United Palace Theatre in New York City on April 13, at the final show of Ghosts of the Forest’s initial seven-show debut run.
Vocalists Jennifer Hartswick and Celisse Henderson shine on the opening of “Shadows Thrown By Fire,” and the band eventually finds a reggae-fied groove on the latter tune.
And while “Wider” was debuted by Phish proper at their July 9 gig at Mohegan Sun, “Shadows Thrown By Fire” has not been heard outside of the Ghosts of the Forest tours.
