Dave Matthews Band continued their summer tour on Long Island at Wantagh, NY’s Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater, but the group wasn’t able to finish the performance due to some inclement weather that overtook the region.

After playing just seven tunes, including staples like “Too Much,” Come Tomorrow tracks like “That Girl Is You” and the “set-closing” “Everyday” (as lightning strikes began to approach the venue), Matthews addressed the crowd, saying “Nobody hates this more than I do but there’s a big storm coming through and they are telling us to leave the stage.” Soon after, an announcement rang out instructing the audience to seek shelter, followed by a strong storm.

After the postponement, the venue and band announced that the show would be rescheduled for tonight, July 18, back at Jones Beach.

Earlier in the evening, saxophonist Jeff Coffin began feeling unwell, retreating to the back of the stage during “Rooftop” and eventually leaving the show following the tune. On Twitter, Coffin reassured fans that he would return with DMB tonight, writing, “Didn’t feel well suddenly and needed to leave stage for the first time in my career. Looking forward to playing for y’all tmoro [sic]!! Lots of love and gratitude.”

Check out the truncated setlist from last night below as it appears in our Box Scores section.
