Continuing their All Roads Runaround Tour Blues Traveler, moe. and G. Love rolled into Baltimore on Saturday night, ready to play a batch of originals and covers.

After an opening set by G. Love and a hits-laden offering by Blues Traveler, the show’s highlight came with the scheduled multi-band collaborative set. Things kicked off with Al Schnier and Jim Loughlin of moe. pairing with John Popper and Ben Wilson of BT for Blues Traveler’s “Alone” and “100 Years.”

From there, Popper and Schnier stuck around to jam with moe.’s Rob Derhak and Chuck Garvey on moe.’s second “New York City” of 2019. The revolving door of talent continued through the Grateful Dead’s “Casey Jones,” with every member of moe. and Blues Traveler onstage, as well as G. Love taking on some vocal duties.

Tom Petty’s “Last Dance with Mary Jane came next (featuring Wilson, Popper, BT’s Tad Kinchla, Chan Kinchla and Brendan Hill, as well as moe.’s Vinnie Amico), followed by The Who’s “Join Together,” featuring the same lineup as before (sans Popper, and with Garvey trading places with Amico).

The set ended with the summer vibes of Sublime’s “What I Got,” featuring all of moe., all of Blues Traveler and G. Love, for one final party.

To end the show, moe. played their stand-alone set, opening with a massive “Big World”> “Ricky Marten”> “Water”> “(nh) Bullet” segment, and closing with an equally jammy trio of “Puebla”> “Faker”> “Mexico.”
