Robert Randolph and the Family Band will release their new studio album, Brighter Days, Aug. 23, and today the band shared a new video for the new album single, “Baptise Me.”

“We sat down to write and started talking about the blues, my roots of growing up in Church, and all the pressures of trying to be a good man,” Randolph says of the genesis of the new track. “Two hours later we had a groovy little tune called ‘Baptise Me.’ We hope everyone feels inspired to know there’s always room for change and growth on the inside.” Randolph previously noted that “Baptise Me” was written during the band’s first day in the studio, saying, “It’s really a love story, about an all-round love: for each other, for our audience, for our church background, for the music we love and for our fans.”
