Trey Anastasio has announced he will return to New York’s famed Carnegie Hall this fall for two solo acoustic performances, which will mark the Phish frontman’s second headlining appearance at the venue, following up his 2009 concert with the New York Philharmonic. The guitarist also played Carnegie Hall three times as part of the annual Tibet House NYC Benefit Concert in 1999, 2000 and 2009, along with a 2004 appearance with the Vermont Youth Orchestra.
Anastasio’s new solo acoustic shows are set for Oct. 29 and 30. All tickets to the performances go on sale this Friday, May 17, at 11 a.m. ET online and via the Carnegie Hall box office.
Anastasio announced yesterday that the new documentary that focuses on the musician, Between Me and My Mind, will hit theaters nationwide for one night, July 17. Next up for Anastasio is a short run of solo-band dates starting May 28 in St. Petersburg, FL. See Anastasio and Phish’s full 2019 schedules here.
