The Allman Betts Band has announced that they have officially signed to BMG for a “global recording agreement,” with the company distributing the band’s debut album, Down To The River (out this June).

“We’re really psyched to have a machine like BMG get behind The Allman Betts Band! We look forward to expanding our brand and music into the international arena with such a professional team,” frontman Devon Allman said via press release.

Guitarist Duane Betts added, “We are very happy to start a great relationship with a powerhouse like BMG and look forward to the release of our debut record.”

In addition to Allman and Betts the band features bassist Berry Oakley Jr. (son of the original Allman Brothers bassist), guitarist Johnny Stachela, keyboardist John Ginty and the percussion duo of R Scott Bryan and John Lum.
