Two big names in the jazz world from different generations will come together this summer when iconic keyboardist Herbie Hancock teams up with saxophonist Kamasi Washington for a co-headlining tour in North America.

The two composers and bandleaders will kick off their joint dates on July 30 in Vienna, VA, and will hit stops in Philadelphia, Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Denver, Seattle, and more. The final announced date is currently Aug. 23 in Berkeley, CA, though more shows are expected to be added soon.

As NPR notes, Hancock’s upcoming, yet-to-be-announced album will reportedly feature his tour mate Washington, along with big names from the contemporary rap and hip-hop spheres like Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus and Terrace Martin. Multi-instrumentalist Martin, a collaborator of Washington’s, will also be joining Hancock’s band on the tour (along with guitarist Lionel Loueke, bassist James Genus and drummer Vinnie Colaiuta).

See Hancock and Washington’s tour dates below. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 12. More ticketing information can be found at Hancock’s website.
