A new documentary focusing on Phish frontman Trey Anastasio will premiere at New York City’s esteemed Tribeca Film Festival on April 26. The film – named Between Me and My Mind, after lyrics from Phish’s song “Light” – will be screened at the Beacon Theatre on Friday, April 26 and the same evening, the Trey Anastasio Band will perform a special after-party at the venue.
“Driven by a constant need to create, Phish frontman Trey Anastasio takes on new projects, including some of his most personal music to date as well as Phish’s ambitious New Year’s Eve show at Madison Square Garden,” reads the doc’s description.
The film is helmed by award-winning director Steven Cantor, who snagged an Emmy for his 2002 documentary Willie Nelson: Still is Still Moving.
Between Me and My Mind was also created with the help of producer Jamie Schultz.
According to the festival, “Tickets for events at the Beacon Theatre go on sale March 19th at 11:00AM ET.”

March 17, 2019 at 11:47 amI was at Phish 8 in Indio, CA (Palm Springs) for Halloween and Exile on Main Street cover. On Halloween night there were many costumes. maybe funniest ever was a look-a-like Borat hairy dude, replete w/ that moustache and a neon yellow-green banana hammock mono-kini (Borat Bathing suit). He was just walking around the polo grounds like nothing was going on. One of the funniest things I have ever seen. The weather was fairly cool. The banana hammock onesie, even cooler.

March 16, 2019 at 9:45 amMy sources informed me the show came about after Fishman lost a bet to Michael Phelps backstage at a Future show. The subject of the wager will be revealed using a new, more sophisticated secret language.
