After debuting the song at a 2018 gig in Los Angeles, John Mayer has shared the studio version of “I Guess I Just Feel Like.”

The song is a stripped-down return to Mayer’s singer-songwriter roots, and a definite pivot from his poppy song-of-the-summer “New Light.”

On Friday, May 1 he will perform the new cut on the Ellen show, and this summer he will pull double duty, hitting the road solo as well as with Dead & Company.

“I Guess I Just Feel Like” is now available on all streaming platforms.
