Tedeschi Trucks Band kicked off their three-night run at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on Thursday night and marked the occasion with their live debut of a Willie Nelson cover and a guest spot from North Mississippi Allstars guitarist Luther Dickinson. The band then followed up on Friday with a new studio single from their upcoming album, Signs, which was released prior to TTB’s second night at the Ryman last night.

Thursday’s one-set affair opened with “Don’t Let Me Slide” and featured TTB’s first performance of Nelson’s “Somebody Pick Up My Pieces” early in the set. Later in the evening, the group welcomed out Dickinson for a duo of blues tunes, “Leaving Trunk” and “Volunteered Slavery.” Friday’s two-set performance continued the Ryman run with staple TTB covers like Derek and the Dominos’ “Keep On Growing” and Bob Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” and closed out with an encore of Spooner Oldham’s “Sweet Inspiration.”

Below, check out Tedeschi Trucks Band’s new single, “They Don’t Shine,” off the band’s upcoming album Signs, set for release on Feb. 15, along with the full setlists from the Nashville run so far and fan-shot video from the two nights. TTB return to the Ryman stage tonight to wrap up their stint in Music City.
