After being announced as one of the top-line acts included in the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival’s expansive 50th annual lineup earlier this week, Bob Seger and his Silver Bullet Band have been removed from the schedule, festival organizers announced late last night.

The festival cites “scheduling conflicts” as the reason for the cancellation. Seger and his band were originally left off the daily lineups when they were released along with the artist listing. Jazz Fest organizers note that fans should keep an eye on the festival’s social media pages for more information on possible replacements.

Tickets to this year’s celebration of 50 years of Jazz Fest, which is set for April 25–28 and May 2–5, are on sale as of this morning. All festival and ticketing information can be found here.
