Brooklyn-based multi-instrumentalist and producer Dave Harrington—one-half of Darkside with Nicholas Jaar—has announced his second album with the Dave Harrington Group, Pure Imagination, No Country, which will be released on February 1 via Yeggs Records.

Harrington has also shared the record’s first single and opening track, “Well,” which can be heard below, and announced a handful of album-release shows including one Los Angeles date and a five-night residency at Brooklyn’s  Threes Brewing in late January and early February. The run will kick off on January 30 with Harrington teaming up with drummer Joe Russo for a duo set and one featuring Russo, Spencer Zahn and Antibalas’ Stuart Bogie. Harrington’s February 2 show will feature his Merry Pranksters, comprising Wilco guitarist Nels Cline along with Bogie, Zahn, Yuka Honda and Jeremy Gustin. Other musicians in the rotating residency lineup include Yeah Yeah Yeahs drummer Brian Chase, Kenny Wollesen, Shazad Ismaily, Greg Fox and more.
