The Grateful Dead’s archival Dave’s Picks series will continue through 2019 with a subscription service that will offer four full, remastered shows as well as a “subscription-exclusive bonus disc” which the service hails as a “highly sought after collectable.”

The discs will be delivered to subscribers throughout 2019, and most of the releases are still being kept under wraps, but the first show – Dave’s Picks 29 – will be the Dead’s Feb. 26, 1977 show at the Swing Auditorium in San Bernardino, Calif. (This beloved performance contains debut performances of “Terrapin Station” and “Estimated Prophet.” It will be released on Feb. 1, 2019.)

“We’re thrilled to start the year with such an exceptional, sought-after show,” archivist David Lemieux said in a statement. “…As all of the subscription hoopla indicates, there are plenty of benefits to subscribing, not least of which is ensuring you’ll definitely receive all four releases in 2019. It’s going to be a great year!”
