The Rock and Roll Playhouse, which presents family-friendly weekend concerts for kids and their parents, has announced a special lineup for this Saturday’s show at Pennsylvania’s Ardmore Music Hall, where guitarist John Kadlecik will perform the music of the Grateful Dead with members of The Disco Biscuits and Lotus.

Joining Kadlecik will be a band dubbed West Philly Fadeaway, which features the Bicuits’ bassist Marc Brownstein and keyboardist Aron Magner, plus Lotus drummer Mike Greenfield. The all-ages show will take place this Saturday, October 13, with doors opening at 11am. Children under the age of 1 get in for free, and tickets to the performance can be found here.

Adding to the weekend of Grateful Dead in Philadelphia, Kadlecik and West Philly Fadeaway will also be playing a Dead-themed show at Ardmore on Friday, and the venue is hosting a Melvin Seals & JGB gig featuring New Mastersounds guitarist Eddie Roberts, saxophonist Ron Holloway and more on Saturday evening.

Recently expanding its country-wide reach, The Rock and Roll Playhouse is now presenting family concerts in 11 venues across 9 cities, including Brooklyn; Port Chester, NY; Boulder, CO; Los Angeles; Minneapolis; Nashville; Chicago; and Berkeley, CA.
