Jack White is currently in Europe for a run of tour dates, and last night in Warsaw, Poland, the former White Stripes frontman welcomed a very special guest, when his mother came on stage to the applause of the audience. As she was celebrating her 88th birthday, the crowd proceeded to sing her “Sto lat,” the Polish birthday song (White is of Polish descent and grew up in a Polish neighborhood in Detroit).

In other White news, the rocker has added some more dates to his fall tour schedule, including a November 17 show at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre and November 19 at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom, along with the previously announced November 20 gig at Bridgestone Arena in White’s adopted hometown of Nashville, where he will be joined by fellow Third Man Records artists Margo Price and Joshua Hedley.

Tickets for the Brooklyn and Chicago shows go on sale this Friday, October 12, at 11am local time, with a pre-sale for Third Man Vault members beginning tomorrow, October 11, at 10am local time. See White’s full tour schedule here.
