Members of Turkuaz and The Motet played a late-night show at New Orleans’ Jazz Fest last year in which they honored musicians who had passed away in 2016, dubbing the event “Fu*k 2016,” and the collaboration is back for this year’s Jazz Fest and “Fu*k 2017.”

While last year celebrated the music of Prince, David Bowie, George Michael, Earth Wind & Fire’s Maurice White and more, this year’s show is set to honor the Allman Brothers Band’s Gregg Allman and Butch Trucks, Tom Petty, Steely Dan’s Walter Becker, Chuck Berry and more.

Fu*k 2017 will take place at One Eyed Jacks on May 2 and will feature Turkuaz’s Craig Brodhead, Michelangelo Carubba and Shira Elias, plus The Motet’s Joey Porter, Garrett Sayers and Lyle Divinsky. Special guests will include Cris Jacobs, DJ Williams, Snarky Puppy’s Nate Werth and Turkuaz horn players Joshua Schwartz and Greg Sanderson.

Tickets to Fu*k 2017 can be found here.
