Omar Rodriguez-Lopez and Cedric Bixler-Zavala are back together along with ex-Mars Volta drummer Dave Elitch and Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea for a new supergroup Antemasque. The band will debut their new single “4AM” today available via iTunes.

The group announced their presence with a teaser video posted on ESPN featuring the band in the studio recording what looks to be a potential album.

The Mars Volta members went their separate ways following their Noctourniquet tour in 2012 due to a falling out between the band members.
