In more musical Black Crowes news (please visit Relix.com for our foray into People-style gossip), guitarist Marc Ford will host a jam-session in Hollywood later this month. Billed as an evening with Marc Ford & Friends, the club gig will feature the guitarist, Ryan Bingham and the Drive-By Truckers team of Shonna Tucker & Jason Isbell (with whom Ford occasionally collaborated during their joint tour throughout the summer). Marc Ford & Friends will take the stage at Hollywoods King King on August 28 with a handful of additional guests. In other Crowes news, Sunday Chris and Rich Robinson performed a rare duo show at Boulder, COs Fox Theatre. During the evening, Crowes bassist Sven Pipien also sang backup vocals on ‘Pardon My Heart. ‘
