Widespread Panic John ‘JoJo’ Hermann will bring his Mojo Mardi Gras Band to Nashville, TN’s Exit/IN this Saturday, October 30. Formed during Widespread Panic’s road hiatus, the Mojo Mardi Gras Band also features Max Abrams (saxophone), Johnny Few (bass), Hunter Williams (percussion), and Kevin Mabin (drums). As the group’s high-profile Bonnaroo performance proved, Hermann’s band focuses on Panic’s funkier leanings, including the music of Professor Longhair, Dr. John and The Funky Meters. On September 14, Hermannn issued his latest studio document, Just Ain’t Right, which features Luther and Cody Dickinson, Paul ‘Crumpy’ Edwards, and Chuck Leavell. Be sure to check out our upcoming interview with Hermann, hitting Jambands.com this weekend.
