The Other Ones will tour this fall as originally scheduled. The band recently released its fall itinerary, but specified that the shows would only take place on the condition that this past weekends sold out Alpine Valley shows ran smoothly, which they did. Very few arrests were reported and most ticketless fans stayed away. The fall tour will kick off November 14 at the Civic Center in Roanoke, VA and then heads north with stops in Washington DC, New York and New Jersey. The band will perform two shows at the FleetCenter in Boston on November 18 and 19 and two nights at the Spectrum in Philadelphia on November 23 and 24. The schedule is rounded out with dates in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and Illinois. Ticket information will be announced soon.
This fall will mark the first time the surviving members of The Grateful Dead – Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann – have toured together since 1995. The line-up also includes Jimmy Herring (guitar), Rob Barraco (keyboards, vocals) and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards, vocals).
