Last night, Widespread Panic closed their three-show stand in the Windy City at the Chicago Theatre. Coming off Thursday’s show, where Billy Strings served as a surprise guest, the veteran jamabnd loaded their shows with special treats. The musicians kicked things off with their first take on “Let’s Get The Show On The Road” since March 5, 2023. Then, near the end of their first set, longtime Panic friend and collaborator Jerry Joseph emerged for two songs from his Little Women days and solo repertoires that have long lived in the Panic catalog, “Chainsaw City” and “North.” Finally, during Panic’s second set, the group busted out “None of Us Are Free” for the first time since August 27, 2022.

Panic will regroup for their annual run at Morrison, CO’s Red Rocks on June 27 while Joseph’s Midwest run continues with a brunch show at Chicago’s City Winery today.
