Northlands Music & Art Festival will return to Swanzey, N.H., on June 19-21, 2026, with a lineup featuring luminaries from the jam, electronica, reggae realms, and beyond, embracing the Northeastern’s affinity for live music. Taking the top slots during the imminent summertime gathering are Dirt Heads, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, and The Disco Biscuits, who lead a list of over 20 other participants who were a part of the first wave announcement.
Trailing the headliners are additional acts, including Dogs in a Pile, Little Stranger, Andy Frasco & The U.N., Lotus, Yonder Mountain String Band, Mihali, The Slip, Circles Around the Sun, Super Sonic Shorties, Moontricks, Ghost-Note, Kanika Moore & The Brown Eyed Bois, Jennifer Hartswick Band, Dizgo, Magoo, Night Zero, Hayleu Jane Band, Annie in the Water, and others.
“Independent festivals are such an important part of the live music ecosystem, but they are a dying breed nationally,” says co-founder Seth McNally. “We’re throwing the biggest party of the year, in a thoughtful way that feels like you’re coming home. Year after year loyal fans come back and support live music. Let’s keep the dream alive.”
McNally also commented on The Slips’ participation in a rare festival appearance, “The Slip… if you know, you know. I’ll see you on the hill for this set for sure.”
Taking the festival’s Artist-at-Large is Kanika Moore, who will also be on location and performing alongside her new band, the aforementioned Kanika Moore & The Brown Eyed Bois, which features members of The Psycodelics.
Situated in the New Hampshire hills, the Northlands Music & Art Festival features an array of on-site vendors, beverage and food options, daytime wellness activities, art installations, live muralists, and an extensive music lineup. Camping options are available. “Northlands has all the amenities of a big festival, but its boutique size and smaller capacity invite connection and create instant community,” says producer Jen Meyerhardt.
